Separate Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced weeks for children
9 - 17 who are motivated to learn to ride or improve their Western
riding skills.
Races, games and drill team activities round out a week with three
riding sessions per day and trail rides for Intermediate and Advanced
groups. Children bring their lunch and have time to do leather working
activities as well as play in the creek. Fridays feature a pot luck
Bar-B-Que lunch and the children perform for their friends and families
at the end of the day.
Beginners have
had no experience to three months of riding lessons.
Intermediates must be independent
and able to catch, groom, tack up and down, walk and trot with excellent
control.
Advanced riders must be able to
do all that plus canter/lope with good control. Background can be
in either English, Dressage or Western Riding.
