Directions to Hossmoor

From Highway 24:  

Take the Orinda Exit North towards Orinda Village and Richmond which puts you on Camino Pablo (San Pablo Dam Road). Past the Sports Fields and JFK University, turn right onto Bear Creek Road (opposite Wildcat Canyon and Tilden Park).  It is 10-15 minutes from Orinda to Hossmoor on your right about 1/2 mile past Garcia Ranch Road and the speed change from 50 mph to 30 mph. Lafayette residents can take Happy Valley Road to Bear Creek Road and turn right, but it is not an appropriate road for horse trailers.  Oakland and Berkeley residents can use Highway 24 or can go through Tilden Park coming down Wildcat Canyon Road and across the San Pablo Dan Road (Camino Pablo) and onto Bear Creek.

From Highway 80 in Pinole:

Take the Pinole Valley Road exit South (away from the bay). When you are in the country there will be a T - bear Left and notice that the road changes name from Pinole Valley Road to Alhambra Valley Road. Several miles later is the first intersection (just after a temporary stop for a washed-out road) which is Bear Creek Road; take it Right for 7/10 of a mile.  Hossmoor will be on your left. El Sobrante/Richmond residents can take Castro Ranch Road to Alhambra Valley Road.

From Highway 4 and Martinez:

Take the Alhambra Valley Exit and turn South, away from Martinez and the Bay. Two lights later turn Right into Alhambra Valley Road. When it dead ends, turn right again and it is still Alhambra Valley Road. You will eventually climb up and out of the Alhambra Creek Watershed and drop down into the Pinole Watershed. The first intersection after the hill is Bear Creek Road - turn Left and go 7/10 of a mile to Hossmoor on your left. Pleasant Hill residents can connect to Alhambra Valley Road by using Reliez Valley Road which ends where it meets Alhambra Valley Road.
